In a fiery collision in California, a police pursuit of a car driven by a 13-year-old kid ended with one fatality and almost a dozen injuries, according to authorities.
According to authorities, the incident occurred at 4:25 pm in Woodland, California, a city located 20 miles northwest of Sacramento.
The Woodland Police Department claimed that an officer attempted to halt a car being driven “erratically” and later revealed it to be stolen after noticing it.

The department said the pursuit reached a deadly conclusion at an intersection. “The car collided with two other vehicles causing two cars to catch fire,” it said.

According to Woodland police Sgt. Victoria Danzl of Sacramento’s NBC affiliate KCRA, among the approximately 10 persons hospitalized was a mother who passed away and three children, including the 13-year-old.
According to Danzl, the 13-year-old was the only person in the car at the time of the collision.
