Despite their disparate backgrounds, they form an unusual friendship and embark on an adventure. Also, Scratch helps Molly deal with the ups and downs of her adolescence..

Molly is the only one who knows about Scratch. Libby, Molly’s best friend, has a sneaking suspicion that something is amiss, as we see at the end of season one. To make Scratch less frightening, Molly should not tell anyone about him. Molly lies to Libby, stating that Molly has gone to Canada and she is Milly, Molly’s cousin who moved from Canada.

Molly cannot hide the fact that she has a ghost buddy. If Molly has been lying to Libby all along, she will no longer want to be friends with her, as Libby discovers. Libby and Scratch finally have a decent relationship now that they both saved Molly. This is where the second season begins. That includes Ashly Burch, Dana Snyder and Lara Jill Miller as well as Jordan Klepper and Sumalee Montano as well as a number of other original cast members.
