At the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, the famed New York rapper had been shot in the hand, pelvis, and chest while attending a Mike Tyson boxing event. The hospital staff were able to keep him alive with the help of a respirator, but his mother insisted that they cut it off. There would be no comeback for Tupac. According to Vanity Fair, the rapper’s fiancée Kidada Jones was one of the last people to speak to him before he went into a coma.
The rapper’s love for the actress had grown significantly in the weeks before his death. Kidada said of Tupac in her father’s memoirs, “Tupac was the love of my life.” Four months into our relationship, he was brutally killed in Las Vegas in 1996. “That event was the worst thing that has ever occurred to me. Kidada was with her partner in their hotel room on the night of Tupac’s death.
When she arrived to the hospital, they gave her his bloodstained garments and informed her that her fiance had no blood pressure. “Are you aware that I adore you?” When he was lying in the hospital bed, Kidada said to him. Do you understand how much we care for you? In his final moments, Tupac nodded, convulsed, and lapsed into a coma. I knew we should have never gone to Vegas that night,” Kidada reflected in her father’s autobiography. My gut told me it was a bad idea.
“In my head, I’ve replayed the scenario countless times. Nothing of the sort was expected to occur. We shouldn’t have been there. What happened was the worst thing that could have happened, and I still don’t know who shot him. The beginning of Kidada and Tupac’s romance was peculiar. According to the Washington Post, in a 1993 interview with Source Magazine,
Tupac had criticised Kidada’s father, saying that he had ruined his children by only having sex with white women. Everyone in Tupac’s family was understandably upset, but once he and Kidada reconnected in a bar, Tupac apologised and the two began dating.
Avicii’s Final Words Before Suicide Revealed In Diary Entry
The Swedish DJ’s dying comments will be published in Mns Mosesson’s upcoming book, Tim – The Official Biography Of Avicii. Tim Bergling, better known as Avicii, was only 28 years old when, on April 20, 2018, his body was discovered in a fancy hotel in Muscat, Oman. After enjoying a meteoric rise to stardom because to the success of tracks like “Wake Me Up” and “Levels,” the DJ began struggling with drug and alcohol addiction, which ultimately led to his suicide.
When published in January 2022, Mosesson’s book will detail how Bergling coped with celebrity and substance misuse. The star’s parents, Anki and Klas Bergling, as well as other family members, acquaintances, and coworkers were interviewed, and the author also got diary entries from Bergling’s period in rehab and the hospital.
Bergling documented his thoughts in his diary, writing: “Even though all of my doctors insisted that I wait at least a year before even having a beer, I had a hard time accepting that I would never drink again. “Obviously, I disregarded the advice of the vast majority of doctors and instead took the advice of the few who assured me that I would be fine provided that I took precautions.
“Once you’ve circled it once, guess what?” “I was naïve and naive, and I was travelling the world, still on the never-ending tour.” The next entry stated: “You go back to square one and begin anew. Awkward as it may sound, my time spent in the hospital was the first time in the past six years when I have experienced zero anxiety or tension.
“After being in excruciating pain, the realisation that no one cares how you spend your time between now and when you feel better was a tremendous release. After keeping up with my crazy schedule up to that point, it was a huge relief to finally have some downtime. His last journal entry came a day before he passed away and read: “The shedding of the soul is the last attachment, before it restarts!”

After their son’s death by suicide, Bergling’s parents established the Tim Bergling Foundation to combat the social stigma that surrounds suicide and mental health concerns worldwide. The foundation gives money to non-profits that use science to combat mental illness and suicide, especially in young people. The money goes to causes that were important to the DJ, such as those dealing with global warming, famine, and endangered species.
