The best relationships can blossom from platonic friendships. Although many people are likely to be surprised by Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s new romance, the two have really known each other for quite some time. Us Weekly said that Barker and Kardashian were dating in January 2021, after he visited Kardashian at her mother Kris Jenner’s house in Palm Springs, California. An insider told Us, “Kourtney and Travis are a couple.
” They’ve known each other for a long time and have been dating for a while now. “Travis has had a longtime crush on Kourtney.” The Blink-182 drummer was quite forward in his advances toward the Poosh creator on Instagram in the days leading up to the announcement of their relationship. Barker reacted with a rose emoji as she uploaded a sultry selfie taken in her dressing room. Below a picture of her stepping into the water, he drew a mermaid emoji.
After she posted several clips from the 1993 film True Romance, he replied, “You’re So Cool.” (The musician has said that True Romance is his all-time favourite film; in fact, he gave his daughter the name Alabama, after Patricia Arquette’s character in the film.) There is a long history between Kardashian and Barker. The two, who share a Calabasas, California, gated enclave, have been seen together on multiple occasions, including going to dinner and church together in 2018.
The artist and his ex-wife Shanna Moakler have both appeared on the popular reality show that the Kardashians have been operating for years. Barker once told Us exclusively that he had a crush on Kim Kardashian, the mother of three’s sister, when she was still working as Paris Hilton’s secretary. What kind of person wouldn’t stare at Kim? Their relationship stabilised into friendship when they broke up after nine years of on-and-off dating. Both Younes Bendjima and Luka Sabbat have been linked to Kourtney, but Disick dated Sofia Richie for over three years before moving on to Amelia Gray Hamlin in late 2020.
