The Marvel Character Daniel Radcliffe Wolverine Believes He’d ‘Been Good’ For!

Daniel Radcliffe Wolverine: If Daniel Radcliffe’s post-Harry Potter career has shown anything, he chose films based more on personal satisfaction than commercial success. He could earn even more fame and money by appearing in another franchise, but he favors intriguing movies over blockbusters. Even so, Daniel Radcliffe might make an exception and join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, though perhaps not in the character many people are used to seeing him in.

Daniel Radcliffe Shot Down Rumors He’ll Play Marvel’s Wolverine

What Radcliffe undoubtedly believed was a casual jest about taking over for Hugh Jackman as Wolverine quickly gained popularity. The joke was based on Radcliffe’s height of 5 feet 5 inches, comparable to Wolverine. But many MCU supporters expressed doubt about him playing the part.

Years after making his original remark, Radcliffe had to deny reports that he would be playing Wolverine. There have also been rumors about Taron Egerton, Pablo Schreiber, Karl Urban, Scott Eastwood, and other actors for the part. And with a pair of adamantium claws, Radcliffe finally appears to have severed his connection to Wolverine.

Radcliffe was not Moon Knight, contrary to rumors that he might be in the Marvel universe. Although Radcliffe previously admitted there is one MCU character he would gladly accept the role of, he is not actively looking for a franchise part.

Radcliffe Says He ‘would’ve Been A Good Spider-man.’

Daniel Radcliffe is probably out of the running to play Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. At this stage in his career, he doesn’t seem interested in leading another major series unless it’s Spider-Man.

In 2016, Tom Holland made his screen debut as Marvel’s top web-slinger in Captain America: Civil War. Around that time, Radcliffe admitted he had always wanted the part that has turned out to be one of the most popular in the MCU, according to Metro UK.

“I would have made a good Spider-Man, but that ship has flown, and I’m glad to watch Tom Holland play the role. He’s amazing. It’s unlikely that Radcliffe will ever play Spider-Man. He had his fill of franchise movies after appearing in eight Harry Potter films between 2001 and 2011, but he’s open to taking on a minor role.

A shorter franchise, yes, said Radcliffe to Metro UK. “I’m not sure if I’d sign on for anything that was another seven or eight films or 10 years, but a shorter franchise, yeah.”

The Actor ‘Harry Potter Franchise Fame Wasn’t All Positive.

Radcliffe gained almost immediate global popularity because of the Harry Potter series. Along with celebrity came negative consequences. Fame brought with it criticism and pressure to perform. Because of this, he began to drink excessively in the last books of the Potter series because he felt pressured to continue playing the part and support his family.

Radcliffe’s parents initially opposed him pursuing his acting ambitions, but they and his close friends assisted him in quitting drinking. They kept him in check and assured him that his identity was unrelated to any character, even if it was one of the most adored ones, which helped him cope with his popularity.

Although Radcliffe may never portray Spider-Man, that doesn’t mean he won’t play a beloved character. Keep yourself updated with all the latest news from our website Newswatchlist.com and get all the recent updates.
