The Daughter of George Floyd Will Sue Kanye West For $250 Million!

George Floyd, Daughter: After Kanye West’s recent statements about the death of George Floyd, Floyd’s little daughter, her mother, and their legal team have announced their intention to sue him for $250 million.

Gianna Floyd’s sole parent, Roxie Washington, made public on Tuesday that she has retained legal counsel to pursue harassment, misappropriation, defamation, and intentional infliction of emotional distress claims against Ye, his business partners, and his acquaintances. They want $250,000,000 in compensation for their losses.

TMZ also reports that the family’s lawyers sent Kanye a cease-and-desist letter for his statements on Floyd’s deadly encounter with Minneapolis police. Part of the letter says: “The evidence provided in the criminal and civil cases that followed Mr. Floyd’s untimely and horrible death established beyond a reasonable doubt the cause of death.

However, you have maliciously created false and baseless claims, hurting Mr. Floyd’s family and estate.” As a result of his comments on an episode of “Drink Champs,” in which he blamed George’s death on a fentanyl overdose and preexisting illnesses rather than on Derek Chauvin’s knee to the neck, Kanye has received a great deal of criticism.

According to the Floyds, Kanye’s allegations are “blatantly untrue” and “malicious,” and his words have “retraumatized” Gianna and are “creating an unsafe and unhealthy environment for her.” The family’s attorneys have asked Kanye to refrain from using Floyd’s name and to take down the interview and any other similar statements he has made about George in a cease and desist order.

As reported by TMZ first… Philonise Floyd, George’s brother, told us on Monday that the family intends to take legal action against Ye. Floyd’s baby’s mom and daughter are taking the initiative now.
