Misrach Ewunetie Was Found Dead On A New Jersey Campus On Thursday Afternoon!

Misrach Ewunetie Suicide: A county prosecutor’s office spokesperson said Friday that it might be weeks before a judgment is made on the cause and manner of death of a Princeton University student whose body was found near campus tennis courts after a days-long search.

The hunt for 20-year-old Misrach Ewunetie, initially reported missing by her family over the weekend, ended Thursday afternoon when her body was discovered on the New Jersey campus. On Friday, an autopsy was being performed by a medical examiner’s office.

Casey DeBlasio, a Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office spokesperson, said that the cause and manner of death would not be determined until toxicology and other test results are returned, which could take weeks. Officials at Princeton University stated they discovered Ewunetie’s body near the campus’s tennis courts.

The prosecutor’s office said on Thursday that there were no apparent signs of injuries and that the death did not appear suspicious. The institution has reported that junior sociology major Ewunetie was last spotted on October 14, early, in the vicinity of a residential building.

Her roommates told her family that Ewunetie was still sleeping in her dorm room the following day. Vice President for Campus Life at Princeton W. Rochelle Calhoun informed students on Wednesday that the student’s family had phoned the school on Sunday night to request a well-being check after not hearing from her for several days.

Public safety officers started hunting for her that evening and issued a campus notice the next day, the institution claims. On October 13, The Daily Princetonian reported that Ewunetie was helping out at one of the university’s eleven dining halls in a volunteer capacity.

The publication says that Ewunetie was “on duty” doing housekeeping work at the Terrace Club during a live music performance. Misrach stepped up to the plate on Thursday night to cover for a member of our team who had been scheduled to work but could not make it to our event.

Misrach and the other members on duty “departed for the night after the club closed and all duty tasks were completed,” the club told the newspaper. The institution released a statement on Thursday, calling her death an “unthinkable tragedy.”

The institution announced, “We are preparing an event for students to get together and honor Misrach. On Thursday, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy expressed his sadness at the news of her death. Murphy claimed he had contacted law enforcement agencies during the search.

He expressed his condolences to “those who knew and loved her,” including her family, friends, and fellow students. DeBlasio said the autopsy was being conducted by the Middlesex County medical examiner’s office. This area borders Mercer County, where Princeton can be found.

In a letter released Friday, Calhoun assured students and their families that there are no threats to the Princeton campus or student body in connection with Ewunetie’s death. Due to an abundance of caution, Calhoun stated that patrols would be increased in student housing areas.

When classes resume on Friday and Monday after fall break, the school will offer counseling services and events for students to honor Ewunetie’s memory. Please forward this to your friends if you find it interesting. Visit Newswatchlist.com for the most recent celebrity news and updates.
