James Conner Injury Update: Will James Conner Play In Week 7?

James Conner Injury Update: James Conner is out for Week 7 with rib pain. We explain what it means to put together your fantasy football team. Thursday Night Football will feature a game between the Arizona Cardinals and the New Orleans Saints. Injuries have been a problem for the Cardinals lately, and running back James Conner is still listed as hurt.

He still has a rib injury that kept him from playing in Week 6 against the Seattle Seahawks. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury said Conner would be an actual game-time call. James Conner had a fantasy score of 10 or more in Week 1, but he hasn’t done that since.

He also missed Week 6 with a rib injury. The offense for Arizona is getting closer and closer to being at full strength, but losing WR Marquise Brown is a setback. The biggest question for fantasy managers is whether or not the 27-year-old running back will play against New Orleans on Thursday.

Implications For Fantasy Football

If Conner is ruled active, you must decide what to do. He didn’t practice this week, so he might not be able to play in every play. You should still sit with him even if he is active because you probably have other options, and he has a limited workload. Since it’s a Thursday night game, you still have much time to play with other players.

Eno Benjamin would have more work to do if Conner is taken out of the game. In Week 6, he carried the ball 15 times for 37 yards and caught 3 passes for 28 yards. Benjamin won’t have the best fantasy football stats by any means, but he’s a good flex play this week (in a starting RB spot, of course).

What Do Experts Have To Say?

Conner’s status for the game will be decided when it starts. This week, I don’t think he will play. It seems as if Kingsbury is being secretive. Conner has averaged 16.3 touches and 63 yards in the three games where he has played at least 60% of the snaps.

He is the RB34 in terms of fantasy points per game and ranks 31st in avoiding tackles, 35th in juking out of kits, and 35th in gaining yards per touch. If he plays, Conner is a risky RB3 for your team. If you believe this is interesting, please discuss it with the other people you know.
