After claiming his maiden Grand Slam victory, Sock resumed his career as a Challenger Tour competitor. His best performance came at the Sacramento Challenger, where he teamed up with Nicholas Monroe and advanced to the doubles final and the quarterfinals of the singles competition. Sock’s singles and doubles final rankings for 2011 were 381 and 370, respectively.

In addition to falling in the doubles final in 2012, Sock took first place in the Futures competition at Plantation. He moved back up to the Challenger level. He competed at the Honolulu Challenger, reaching the quarterfinals of the singles competition and the final of the doubles competition with Nick Monroe.
