Exodus Tyson: Mike Tyson’s Daughter Is Killed In A Hanging Accident!

Exodus Tyson: May 26, 2009 — After what authorities described as a “tragic accident” on a home treadmill, Exodus Tyson, the 4-year-old daughter of former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson, passed away Monday at a Phoenix hospital.

Exodus accidentally hanged herself with a treadmill cable in her central Phoenix home, putting herself on life support. According to ABC News station KNXV-TV and police Sgt. Andy Hill passed away at 11:45 a.m.

“Somehow, she was playing on this treadmill, and there’s a cord that hangs under the console; it’s kind of a loop,” Hill said. “Either she slipped or put her head in the loop, but it acted like a noose, and she was obviously unable to get herself off of it.”

The ex-champ was seen arriving at the hospital on Monday wearing a white button-up shirt and black slacks and frowning as he looked around before entering. Tyson, 42, was reportedly in Las Vegas at the time of the accident but promptly took a flight to Phoenix, according to Hill.

“The Tyson family would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks for all your prayers and support, and we ask that we be allowed our privacy at this difficult time,” the boxer said in a statement. “There are no words to describe the tragic loss of our beloved Exodus.”

Exodus’ brother, who is 7 years old, discovered her on Monday and alerted their mother, who was in another room. Exodus was disconnected, and she attempted to revive her while dialing 911. According to a statement from Phoenix police, the event happened when the toddler played in a playroom, and the child’s mother cleaned the house.

According to the police report, when the 34-year-old lady sent her son to see what Exodus was doing, the kid saw her “in difficulty.” According to the authorities, when he phoned his mother, she discovered her on a treadmill with a cable from the exercise equipment wrapped around her neck.

According to the police, the mother of the child entered the room, untied her from the cord, dialed 911, and then began CPR Police took over from the woman conducting CPR as soon as they arrived since the girl was not breathing when they arrived. A short while later, firefighters arrived and performed CPR, according to the police.

After being eventually transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, the youngster passed away there. According to the police, this was “a terrible accident” based on the initial inquiry, which included information from the responding officers, interviews with the mother and son, and a preliminary study of the site.

According to representatives from the Phoenix Fire Department, the woman who dialed 911 shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Monday initially reported being electrocuted by a treadmill cord before changing her tale to indicate that she had been hanged.

James Toback‘s latest documentary features Tyson, who arrived at the hospital late on Monday afternoon but avoided speaking to reporters when he entered, according to KNXV-TV.

“He’s a really nice guy, definitely a guy I don’t want anything bad happening to him, so I hope it is an accident, and I’m pretty sure it probably is an accident, and I hope everything works out,” neighbor Shafiq Khalik told the ABC affiliate. “It’s very tragic.”

“It’s terrible,” Abby St. Jermain, who grew up in the neighborhood and is house-sitting for her parents down the street, told KNXV-TV. “The kids are so sweet. We always see them riding their bikes, playing. They’ve just been wonderful people.”

Dinka Radic, who lives across the street, praised Exodus as intelligent and charming.

“The little girl, she says ‘You got chocolate in your house?”‘ Radic said. “I say ‘Yes,’ and she says, ‘OK, give me some.”‘

When she gives the girl the chocolate, Radic says, “she just kisses me on my knees. Kiss, kiss, kiss. Very nice.”

“She was a lively girl,” said Ben Brodhurst, who also lives nearby. “She was always making noise. You see her riding a bicycle from house to house, and she was an eccentric little girl.” Keep yourself updated with all the latest news from our website Newswatchlist.com and get all the recent updates.
