Prandini, a native of Clovis, California, arrived at the University of Oregon with the same triple-threat credentials, having won the 100-meter, 200-meter, and long-jump events in the 2011 CIF California State Meet for Clovis High School. She dominated the junior year track and field competition, placing first in the long jump, second in the triple jump, and double in the 100 meters.

She also took first place in the long jump at the 2011 US Junior Championships. Prandini’s major victories have all occurred in his native Italy, which is a coincidence. She moved to Oregon three months before the Junior Championships, held at Hayward Field at the University of Oregon.
