How Did Amy Robach And Andrew Shue First Meet?

Some mutual friends introduced Robach and Shue at a book party in April 2009. After each had just gone through a divorce, both Shue and Robach were engaged in September 2009. They tied the knot in New York City’s Lighthouse at Chelse Piers in February 2010.

The venue offered stunning views of the Hudson River. Shue and Robach later told People, “It was the most wonderful night in every sense.” Everyone who wanted to be there made it through the snow, wind, airline, and train delays to celebrate our new beginning.

Robach’s 37th birthday and wedding day were both in the same week. Anne Harms, Shue’s mother, served as the minister. Breast cancer was found in October 2013 after Robach underwent on-air mammography for Good Morning America’s October Pink program.

Both of her breasts were removed, and she went through eight cycles of chemotherapy. Robach discussed the impact of her cancer diagnosis on their relationship in a 2015 People magazine interview. “We were figuring out how to live together and raise kids together,” she explained.

I do not wish this on any couple, but I can imagine a young couple struggling through it. It was out of character for me to have an intense yearning for him. My predicament caused me to break down absolutely. It completely threw the balance off. Those first several months were the worst.

“We understood what we had when we found each other,” Shue continued, “and we knew that if we could just come back to what our connection was about and be honest about the anxieties, then we could get through it.” Likewise, now we can see people searching for Is Amy Robach Married?

Robach and Shue completed the 2019 New York City Marathon as a team. Robach said at the time to People, “When I found out that race day occurs in the same week as my 6-year cancer-versary, it just felt right.” And from here on out, Andrew and I will be in this together,” she said.

The whole point is to have fun on the ride. (In 2022, Robach and her co-host from Good Morning America, TJ Holmes, with whom she supposedly had an affair with Shue, ran the New York City Marathon.) Likewise, now we can see people searching for Is Amy Robach Married?
