Amy Grant Heart Surgery: Amy Grant, a gospel singer-songwriter who underwent emergency open heart surgery and miraculously recovered, has published pictures of her battle scar.

The “Saved By Love” singer underwent the treatment to treat partial anomalous pulmonary venous return (PAPVR), a congenital cardiac defect, successfully on June 3.

On Sunday, Amy Grant updated her followers on Instagram about her procedure and recovery.

The Grammy Award winner, 59, compared the situation to that of a “non-runner who was signed up for a marathon,” adding that the encouragement and prayers from her friends, followers, and family helped to “simply push me through.”

Sincerely, my recovery has seemed miraculous,” she stated. “I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who prayed for me. Prayer has a profound impact. She commented next to a collection of images displaying the extensive scar running down the center of her chest.

Amy Grant began her piece by ostensibly discussing the coronavirus pandemic issue, and the worldwide demonstrations brought on by George Floyd’s passing.

“I know that a lot is happening in the world now. It’s a wild, broken, and beautiful period right now. And in the midst of it all, during our awakening, growing, and learning to love and see one another, I had this infrequent experience of needing unexpected open heart surgery.

“Keep those prayers coming for our country and let’s turn all the brokenness into love and seeing each other,” she told her fans.

Update On Amy Grant’s Condition After Heart Surgery

Amy Grant offers the following advice to people who feel healthy: Hire a specialist “to look it over.”

Grant disclosed that she underwent open heart surgery in June 2020 after receiving a partial abnormal pulmonary venous return diagnosis in February 2020.

In an interview with “Good Morning America” on Wednesday, Grant, who underwent surgery eight months ago, provided a health update as well as a message about her experience with her heart abnormality.

“I’m in great shape. I have the impression that this year will be the best one yet. I adore it, “said Grant.

The singer was born with a cardiac problem that she was unaware of until her doctor advised her to have a checkup when accompanying her husband, Vince Gill, to the clinic last year.

Grant remarked, “My birth condition was an impending killer, and I had no knowledge. “My suggestion is to look for yourself because the world needs you,”

Grant credited her doctor for recommending “a battery of testing” due to her father’s history of heart disease when she announced her ailment on social media.

Open heart surgery was the next step in treating the ailment after finding the abnormality. According to the doctor, if the problem hadn’t been found, she might have died within the next two or three years.

She then posted on social media, “The first positive news is that I am fully asymptomatic. “The second good news is that it can be fixed, so this summer, instead of attending concerts and camping, I’m going to take care of my heart.”

Ten days following the procedure, she shared a photo of her surgical scar on Instagram and her post-op feelings with her followers: “Sincerely, my recovery has seemed remarkable. I, therefore, want to express my gratitude to everyone who prayed for me.”

The performer wants people to understand how to better care for their health.
