Kevin Hart Movies List: Top 10 Latest And Greatest Movies

Kevin Hart Movies List: Kevin Hart has been a significant force in Hollywood since he stole the show in Scary Movie 3. And he can demonstrate his success with his 152 million Instagram followers. Hart began his career as a stand-up comedian and has long since appeared in Hollywood movies and television.

Additionally, he has produced several well-received comedy albums and even created and starred in Real Husbands of Hollywood as a fictionalized version of himself (2013–2016). In collaboration with Lionsgate, Hart unveiled the Laugh Out Loud Network 2017, a paid video streaming service. Has his friendship with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson been mentioned? Rest assured that Hart is present everywhere.

“Of course, my success has grown because I’ve had more success with theatrical movies. But the biggest real change is probably just my mentality,” Hart once told Esquire. “I’m at a point where I’ve grown tremendously as a man. I’m smarter. I’m more educated in the realm of business and what goes into entertainment.

People don’t understand that the term ‘show business is accurate. It’s a business, and the more that you develop and the more that you learn it, the more powerful you have the potential to become. I’m learning it inside and out and hopefully put myself in a position to become a force reckoned with for quite some time.”

Even if there have been some duds, Hart has left his mark on some recently released, highly-regarded movies. Despite being primarily comic, his best work has effectively reached a broad and diverse audience, not just a tiny niche. Here’s a closer look at some of Hart’s best movies to date as his Netflix comedy Me Time with Mark Wahlberg begins to gain popularity.

10. Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie (2017)

Do you remember those renowned Dav Pilkey illustrated books? Indeed, the majority of youngsters from the 1990s do. Consequently, it was a joy to see the series hit the big screen in 2017. The prankster monarchs of their elementary school are featured in Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie as George Beard (voiced by Hart) and Harold Hutchins (Thomas Middleditch).

They work in their enclave, creating comic comics. Their favorite figure is Captain Underpants, a brave but dimwitted character who wears a tighty-whitey. He almost always succeeds in saving the day. The cranky and lonely Principal Krupp (Ed Helms) has had enough of the boys’ mischief. He has thought of a brilliant solution to ending their prank dictatorship. He intends to split them apart.

George hypnotizes the dim-witted Krupp just as they look to be defeated. He changes into an actual Captain Underpants. The excited perpetrators are given the go-ahead to commit prank mayhem before realizing they have taken on too much. The eagerly awaited sequel cannot come soon enough. Hart’s recognizable voice provides the O.G. movie’s heartbeat, so we want to see him back. It’s a promising movie series, to put it mildly.

9. Night School (2018)

In the movie Night School, a group of adults enrolls in Tiffany Haddish’s night school to obtain their GEDs. Hart portrays Teddy as a man who abandoned his high school career owing to undetected learning problems that he could not manage. A respectably humorous movie is Night School.

It’s not as explicit or adult-focused as some other Hart movies because it’s PG-13 rated, but it still manages to be a pleasant, light viewing with a few decent laughs. The emotional aspects in Night School include Hart’s determination to persevere until he finally receives a diagnosis of his learning problems, learns how to deal with them, and earns his GED.

8. Ride Along (2014)

The 2014 film Ride Along centers on a security guard (Hart) who must convince Ice Cube, the girlfriend’s cop brother, that he deserves her hand in marriage. In a series of action-packed escapades, Hart joins him on a 24-hour patrol in Atlanta. Hart plays a jumpy, reserved man in the film.

It resembles him quite, almost like an exaggerated version of most of the characters he plays. His character complements Ice Cube’s strict, no-nonsense manner, and he’s funny in the role. It’s a funny movie with a good cast and balance, and a 2016 sequel was ever produced.

7. This is the End (2013)

Back then, it was evident that Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg agreed with the idea of “Let’s all play ourselves and make fun of ourselves!” This is the End permits every actor to portray enhanced versions of themselves, whereas most films only allow one actor to appear as themselves. The movie’s primary focus is a massive gathering of celebrities who have gathered for a wild party when the end of the world unexpectedly occurs.

The performers portray satirical versions of themselves in the video, but what stands out is how well they can improvise off of one another. Hart’s one-liner when he selfishly tosses fellow comic Aziz Ansari off of him to avoid being killed during the apocalyptic moment in the first act is maybe, “Get the f*** off me, Aziz!” His little exchange with Jason Segel (seen above) is very funny.

6. 35 & Ticking (2011)

The main characters in 35 & Ticking are pals Victoria, Zenobia, Cleavon, and Phil, all of a particular age, attempting to start the families they’ve always wanted. While Victoria (Tamala Jones) is married to a man who doesn’t want children, Zenobia (Nicole Ari Parker) is still hunting for a man.

While Phil (Keith Robinson) is already married with children, his wife is not very interested in being a mother, and Cleavon (Hart) is too geeky to attract a lady. While their biological clocks are running out, the four try to fix their love pasts and futures.

“The band was excellent. Everyone put in a just stunning performance, “Parker, a co-star, reportedly told Blackfilm.com. “Dondre Whitfield, Keith Robinson, Kevin Hart, Jill Marie Jones, and Tamala Jones all displayed sides of themselves that we hadn’t seen before, while Mike Epps and Dondre Whitfield, among others, provided comedy. It was enjoyable to be there and to report for work each day.”

5. Central Intelligence (2016)

The comedy team of Kevin Hart and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is another excellent one. The two play former high school friends in Central Intelligence who rejoin 20 years later. Hart is a commonplace man who works as an accountant.

Johnson’s character, meanwhile, has undergone a significant transformation since high school and is now a powerful CIA operative trained in hand-to-hand combat. When the two meet again, Hart becomes sucked into international espionage and joins Johnson on the run to stop a terrorist.

It’s another instance of Hart playing the same character he usually does. Still, Central Intelligence highlighted their relationship on screen and demonstrated how effectively they complement each other’s talents and shortcomings.

4. Get Hard (2015)

In the 2015 film Get Hard, Will Ferrell plays a wealthy investment banker falsely accused of committing fraud and given a 10-year sentence. James (Ferrell) has 30 days to organize his affairs before being sentenced, so he asks Darnell (Hart), a man who owns a car wash, for assistance in getting ready for prison.

Hart needs to assist Ferrell’s character in “become hard” to make it through jail life. Even though Get Hard isn’t consistently funny from beginning to end, Ferrell and Hart make a great comedy team, and the film is nevertheless intelligent and well-made.

It’s one of those movies that would look like it might be a dud, but it’s pretty entertaining and gives Hart and Ferrell plenty of opportunity to shine comedically.

3. The Secret Life of Pets (2016)

A delightful animated comedy called The Secret Life of Pets explores what happens to pets when their owners are away. These animals live lavish lives in secret, including house parties and adventures throughout the city, hence the appellation. In addition to Kevin Hart, the film stars Eric Stonestreet, Jenny Slate, Bobby Moynihan, Tara Strong, Hannibal Buress, Dana Carvey, and Bobby Moynihan.

Hart portrays Snowball, a cuddly, fluffy white rabbit that serves as the film’s main adversary. This movie is enjoyable for both children and adults because of the humorous juxtaposition of Hart’s voice in the body of an adorable bunny.

2. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017)

A group of teenagers stuck in the infamous game and duplicated as a bunch of adult avatars in this new installment of the Jumanji franchise must fulfill objectives to return home. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which also starred Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan, debuted to positive reviews and amassed about $1 billion in worldwide revenue.

As children stuck in an adult body, Hart is hilarious against comedy legends like Johnson and Black. As the four make their way through the difficult Jumanji landscape first brought to life by none other than Robin Williams in the 1990s, the script is filled with hilarious one-liners.

1. Top Five (2014)

Chris Rock has undoubtedly made headlines this year. In the way that only Rock can, Rock’s Top Five probes beneath the surface of rap, politics, show business, and the demands of being Black and famous today.

Top Five tells the tale of New York City comedian-turned-film star Andre Allen, whose unexpected encounter with a journalist (Rosario Dawson) causes him to confront his comedic career and the history that he’s left behind. Top Five was written, filmed, and starred by Rock himself.

As usual, Hart assumes control of the persona of his agent role and blends intelligence with edgy humor. Top Five is not to be missed, even though it’s unfortunate that the Oscars didn’t recognize it that year. Additionally, keep an eye out for that extended cameo by Jerry Seinfeld.
