Terrence O’Hara, TV Director For “NCIS,” “Smallville,” And “Angel” Dies At Age 76!
Television director Terrence O’Hara, best known for his work on NCIS, Smallville, and Angel, has passed away. He was 76.
Maddie O’Hara, Terrence O’Hara’s daughter, revealed in an Instagram post that her father died on Monday, December 5, from cancer.
It’s odd for me to be penning those words. I never imagined it. He would walk me down the aisle, watch his grandchildren grow up, and spend his golden years at the lake with my mother. However, she said that cancer is a bête, and his life was tragically cut short. He has been working, fighting, guiding, and smiling throughout the past five years of quiet struggle. He was well-known for his contagious laugh, loud ass sneeze, wild sailor tongue on set, and extraordinary, perceptive, imaginative, and intelligent mind. I could continue.
Maddie stated that her father’s passing had left a void in her heart. He is survived by his wife, a son, and two daughters.
We may rest easy knowing that he is no longer in agony, suffering, or struggling. But it will never feel right, she said, never feel normal. He was prepared to be with his lovely parents, sisters, and brother, “where I’m sure he’s up there directing the shit out of everyone,” said the author.
