Amazon Facility in Chandler, Arizona Had a Shooting That Leaves 1 Dead and the Shooter Dead

On Wednesday, a shooting was reported at an Amazon Flex Warehouse on McQueen and Queen Creek roads. The Chandler Police Department has been looking into the incident ever since.

Sgt. Jason McClimans, a spokesman for the Chandler Police Department, said that at around 9:30 a.m., they received a call reporting that a man, later identified as 29-year-old Jacob Murphy, had shot another man in the parking lot of the Amazon warehouse. The victim, a contractor for Amazon who remains unnamed, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after being shot.

McClimans claims a different male Amazon contractor shot Murphy after the initial incident. Murphy was found dead at the scene, although it is unclear if the third man shot and killed him or if Murphy took his own life.
