We had the honor of having Della as a member of the CBS family for nine years, during which time she gave hope and inspiration to millions of people through her role as Tess in the show Touched By An Angel.

Touched by an Angel aired on CBS for nine seasons (1994–2003). (1994–2003). It was a significant family hit on Sunday nights. It starred Reese as her demanding boss Tess and Downey as the angel Monica. Downey also appeared in the film. Reese was nominated for Emmy Awards in 1997 and 1998.
