Aubrey Plaza And Michael B. Jordan To Host SNL: January 6 (UPI) — The first episode of the new year of Saturday Night Live featured an announcement about the show’s next two hosts. The show, which is currently in its 48th season, will have two new hosts for its episodes airing on January 21 and 28.

Who Will Take Charge Of The Show Starting January 21?

Aubrey Plaza, who currently plays in the second season of The White Lotus on HBO and in the film Emily, the Criminal, will take the helm of the show beginning on January 21. The nominee for the Golden Globe will make an appearance alongside musical guest Sam Smith; this will be Smith’s third time making an appearance.

The 38-year-old actress, born in Delaware, is probably best recognized for her part as April Ludgate on the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation. In 2019, Smith, a British artist who identifies as non-binary, announced their intention to embark on a tour supporting their new album Gloria. This tour is scheduled to begin in July. On July 25, the time will get underway at the FTX Arena in Miami.

Michael B. Jordan, who stars in Creed III, will headline Saturday Night Live on January 28. In the third installment of the series that was launched as an extension of the Rocky film franchise in 2015, the multiple award-winning actor and director starred as Adonis Creed.
