Percy Romeo Miller, popularly known by his stage name Romeo (formerly Lil’ Romeo), was born on August 19, 1989, and is an American rapper, actor, and television personality. He signed with No Limit Records, then run by his father, Master P, and quickly became well-known as a rapper in the early 2000s. His first single, “My Baby,” was published in 2001 and reached its highest point on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 3. Later that year, Miller released his debut album Lil’ Romeo, which debuted at number six on the US Billboard 200 and eventually earned a Gold certification after selling 99,000 copies in its first week.
Romeo Miller’s second album, Game Time, was released in 2002. It debuted at number 33 on the US Billboard 200 and sold 96,000 copies in its first week. Romeoland, Miller’s third album, debuted at number 70 on the US Billboard 200 in 2004 and sold merely 56,000 copies in its first week. In April 2006, Romeo’s debut digital album, “Lottery,” was made available through Guttar Music. Along with being released by Guttar Music, it was also done so in collaboration with UrbanDigital and GoDigital Music Group. Under the name “Romeo,” he released this record for the first time. In December of the same year, his second digital album, “God’s Gift,” was released.
Romeo Miller and his father kept on their collaboration, and in 2007 they founded the non-explicit musical label Take A Stand Records.
