Hailey Bieber Says She Struggled With A Little PTSD: Hailey Bieber is open about how her mini-stroke affected her physical and mental well-being last year.

“I struggled with a lot of anxiety after. I struggled with a little bit of PTSD of just, like, the fear of maybe it was gonna happen again,” the model revealed on Thursday’s “Run-Through with Vogue” podcast.

“It was just a feeling that I was, like, I never want to experience that ever again. It was so terrifying, jarring, and discombobulating in every single way you could imagine.”

The 26-year-old founder of Rhode Beauty continued, saying the mini-stroke “absolutely” was the scariest experience she had ever had.

According to Bieber, returning to the region, even for the podcast, is “extremely triggering” for her because she was in Palm Springs during a medical issue in March of last year.

Even the first few times afterward, she said, “was a little bit of a bizarre triggering type of feeling for me because you just remember exactly how everything transpired at that moment.”

“But I think the bright side is that it led me to find out I had this hole in my heart.”

According to Bieber, she is gradually resuming her everyday life without concern about her health.

“I look back at it, and it could’ve been so much worse,” she said. “So many worse things could have happened at that moment.”

She disclosed that she had to have surgery to repair a hole in her heart after having a mini-stroke a month after Bieber was admitted to the hospital.

The former “Drop the Mic” anchor claimed in a YouTube video titled “sharing my story” that she had a blood clot in her brain that had caused a transient ischemic attack.

I’m incredibly relieved I can move on from this terrible scenario and live my life, Hailey, married to Justin Bieber, said at the time.
