Not Dead Yet' Announces Star-Studded Lineup of Guest Stars

Not Dead Yet’ Announces Star-Studded Lineup of Guest Stars: Before its two-episode launch on February 8, ABC has revealed an incredible cast of guests for the much-awaited Not Dead Yet, which features Gina Rodriguez and is executive produced by her.

Along with the previously announced Martin Mull, a star-studded cast of ghosts, including Ed Begley Jr., Mo Collins, Deborah S. Craig, Telma Hopkins, Don Lake, Rhea Perlman, Paula Pell, Tony Plana, Brittany Snow, and Julia Sweeney, will appear in the series, which centers on an obituary writer who sees the dead. At a later time, more guest stars are anticipated to be revealed.

In Not Dead Yet, Nell Serrano (Rodriguez), a broke and recently single self-described disaster, tries to pick up where she left off with her life and profession. Nell begins receiving life advice from some odd sources, the deceased individuals whose lives she is writing about, when she accepts the only job she can find writing obituaries. She says, “I don’t see dead people,” in the clip above, after spotting her first ghostly appearance, a reference to the great 1999 movie The Sixth Sense.

Not Dead Yet also stars Josh Banday as Dennis, Lauren Ash as Lexi, Rick Glassman as Edward, Hannah Simone as Sam, and Angela Gibbs as Cricket.

The pilot comes from the minds of The Real O’Neals, Casey Johnson and David Windsor, McG, and 20th Television. It is based on Alexandra Potter’s Confessions of a Forty-Something F**k Up, which was released in 2020.

Along with Rodriguez and Dean Holland, Johnson and Windsor will write and executive produce Not Dead Yet. Through Wonderland Sound and Vision, McG, Mary Viola, and Corey Marsh will serve as executive producers. 20th Television, a unit of Disney Television Studios, makes the show.
