All American Season 6: All American, the network’s first scripted show, has been renewed for a sixth season, even though the ownership of The CW has been transferred to Nexstar throughout the past few months. This has resulted in The CW undergoing a sea of change over these months. This revelation comes just a few weeks before the mid-season premiere of the show, which will take place on Monday, January 23.

Daniel Ezra, who plays the leading role of Spencer James, a renowned high school football player from South Los Angeles, is the protagonist of this series. James is offered a position to play basketball at Beverly Hills High School, a change that will shake up many aspects of his life but will also present him with an opportunity for advancement.

The life of former National Football League player Spencer Paysinger served as the basis for the film All American. Season 5 has been a success for the series, grabbing the top place in the 18-49 demographic while also pulling and retaining a solid cross-platform following.
