New Jersey House Explodes Overnight With 5 Volunteer: When a house in New Jersey burst overnight while six firefighters were inside putting out a two-alarm blaze, some of the first responders were hurt, according to local authorities.
Early on Saturday morning in the Garden State municipality, the Pompton Lakes Fire Department sent out its volunteer firefighters to take possession of a residential building.
Five of Pompton Lakes’ bravest were inside the house when it erupted while fighting the flames, according to a Facebook post by Wayne Fire Company No. 2
According to authorities, the firefighters got out of the house by climbing out of the basement.

At least two of the firefighters who were inside the house at the time of the explosion, according to the mayor of Pompton Lakes, needed hospitalization, although their wounds weren’t life-threatening. Despite having burns, those firefighters were eventually freed.
“Every day, our volunteer organizations put their life on the line for Pompton Lakes,” Mayor Mike Serra wrote online. “We all appreciate it.”
Around 2 a.m., a vigilant officer on patrol noticed smoke coming from the house on Ramapo Avenue. He quickly knocked on the door to get Tom Garrett out.
“He came out and said you ain’t going back into the house pal, stay outside and he was the one who called the fire department,” Garrett said.
Now, investigators are trying to figure out what might have started the fire and caused the building to explode. Please forward this to your friends if you find it interesting. Newswatchlist.com is the best place to find the latest and updated information about your favorite celebs.
