With a cheery video, Kadokawa unveiled Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear’s second season.

The Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Punch! The trailer teases various human and animal characters, giving viewers a preview of what to expect from the anime. Additionally, it confirms an April 2023 launch window.

The show is being produced once more by the animation studio EMT Squared (I’m Quitting Herring), and some members of the original creative team will be back to work on the upcoming season.

It will be directed by Yuu Nobuta (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion), the series composition supervisor will be Takashi Aoshima (Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! ), the music will be composed by Shigeo Komori (A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives), and the character designer will be Yuki Nakano (Drug Store in Another World – The Slow Life of a Cheat Pharmacist).

Azumi Waki (My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!) and Maki Kawase (The Rising of the Shield Hero), who played Fina and Yuna, respectively, in the Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Punch original Japanese version, have both returned in their leading roles.

Marissa Lenti and Xanthe Huynh, who provided the voices for the pair in the English dub of Season 1 of the anime series, Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious, and I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level, are slated to reprise their roles for Season 2; however, it is currently unknown.

Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Began as a Light Novel

Kumano and 029’s Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear light novels debuted as serials on the user-generated novel publishing website Shsetsuka ni Nar, like many other contemporary isekai series. Later, the series was purchased by publisher Shufu to Seikatsu Sha, and it has since generated content for 19 volumes.

Yuna, a 15-year-old NEET who lives off the money she makes on the stock market and spends her time playing video games, is the story’s protagonist. However, Yuna finds herself teleported into the game’s world after she receives a bear suit for playing World Fantasy Online.

All 12 episodes of the first season of the anime adaption of EMT Squared, which ran from October to December 2020, maybe watched online on Crunchyroll in both the English dub and the original Japanese. Seven Seas Entertainment distributes the light novel series in English.
