To Samuel and Renee (Fabri) Maldonato in Monroeville, Gabby was born on February 28, 1993. 2011 saw her graduate from Penn-Trafford High School, and 2016 saw her complete her studies at the University of Pittsburgh (magna cum laude).

Gabby enjoyed working with kids and used her education degree to teach preschool and elementary students in the Penn-Trafford and nearby school districts.

Gabby enjoyed performing on stage and listening to music; she used these talents to produce real estate videos with her mother, Renee Maldonato. Gabby loved playing sports in middle and high school, especially basketball, cheerleading, and volleyball.

Later, she got active in chorus and theatre. The New York Mets, Pitt football, and professional wrestling were some of her favorite sports franchises!

Gabby adored the holidays and would enthusiastically and imaginatively decorate her home to spread the fun and joy of each season to others.

Gabby, the fun-loving young lady she was, had a massive passion for everything Disney! Gabby cherished all creatures, but she significantly loved dogs.

Her Labradoodles, “fur daughter” Rylee, and Rylee’s “fur brother” Murphy, who resided with her parents, were her pride and joy.

Since she was a young girl, Gabby has taken family holidays to the beach at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. On June 24, 2017, Gabby wed Matthew Kochasic, the love of her life.

They spent ten years together. In addition to her parents, Gabby is survived by her devoted husband Matthew, her sister Alexandra (William) Chotiner, her nephew Wesley Chotiner (her “Bubba Boy”), whom she loved dearly, her aunts Julia (Jeff) DeSantes and Jodi (Josh) Fleishman.

The viewing begins at 10 am, followed by the service at 11 am at the Faith United Methodist Church, located at 305 Freeport Street in Delmont, Pennsylvania.
