Prices were cut by more than half from $29.5 million in 2017 to $14.5 million in 2018, and then again in 2019 to a mere $9.5 million. In 2020, as the price dropped, so did the amount of land included. Twenty acres were left of the original land. They agreed to take $8.5 million in May of 2021.

In 2018, they gave the Coachella Valley Conservation Commission 480 acres of land they had held in northern Palm Springs. They dropped $2.3 million for a Malibu mansion in 1999. They spent $2.35 million to purchase the next property in 2001. With the second acquisition, they boosted their oceanfront to an unbelievable 190 feet. In 2007, a fire wiped out the neighborhood.

Instead of rebuilding, Suzanne and Alan sold the two vacant lots in 2016 for $12.03 million. In due time, a lavish palace of around 5,000 square feet was constructed on the land. The new home went on the market for $40 million in late 2021. The asking price was recently cut to just under $30 million, but as of this writing, it has still not sold.
