On Saturday, April 23, 2022, Andrew Michael Owens, 28, of Kenosha, died at home with his parents, brother, and sister at his side after losing a second battle with cancer after being in remission for 20 years.
He was Simon Owens’ son born on December 22, 1993, in Kenosha. He left George N. Nelson Tremper High School in 2012 with a diploma and enrolled at Gateway Technical College to continue his education.
He worked at Amazon and liked playing video games, listening to music, going on excursions, and hanging out with friends and family.
Along with his grandma Sue Owens, his father Simon Owens, mother Vicki Gonzales, sister Alexis (Anthony) Ruffolo, girlfriend of five years Emily Nelson, aunts, uncles, cousins, other kin, and numerous friends, all survive him.

Leonard Owens, his grandfather, died before him.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Santos, his Drexel Town Square Cancer Center team, and his nurse Lisa from Horizon Hospice for the superb care.
On Friday, April 29, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Proko Funeral Home will be open for visitation.
On Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., a Christian burial Mass will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church, 7307 40th Avenue. All Saints Cemetery will then be the site of the grave.
