Angus Cloud Cause of Death
The Alameda County Coroner’s Office confirmed to Variety on Thursday that Angus Cloud died from an accidental overdose of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and other drugs.
According to the Coroner’s Office, he died of “acute intoxication” from a combination of methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, and benzodiazepines.Cloud was declared deceased by responding Oakland police officers at 11:30 a.m. on July 31. Cloud had been grieving the loss of his father, who had been buried a week prior.
The only consolation we have is that Angus is back with his best friend, his dad. The family of Angus Cloud released a statement saying, “We hope that Angus’s passing can serve as a reminder that others are not alone and should not fight this alone in silence.” Cloud was open about his struggle with mental health.
Cloud shot to stardom after portraying Fez, a likable drug dealer, on the hit HBO series “Euphoria.” It was his debut part in Hollywood, and he went on to star in music videos including “All Three” by Noah Cyrus and “Cigaretts” by Juice WRLD. and “Mamiii” by Karol G and Becky G. Before his untimely demise, Cloud had acted in the drama “North Hollywood” (2021) and the feature “The Line” (2023). His legacy lives on in movies like “Your Lucky Day,” “Freaky Tales,” and “Scream VI’s” unnamed monster movie.
