In a recent interview, the mother of “Euphoria” star Angus Cloud discussed the day she discovered her son had died. Conor Hickey, better known as Angus Cloud, passed away on July 31 at the age of 25. “I started shaking him and screaming. I pushed him hard, and he fell on the floor. I tried to resuscitate him — mouth to mouth — and I was compressing him,” Lisa Cloud told People magazine.
“I was screaming for my neighbor because I didn’t want to leave him and call 911, and I just kept at it until they took him away. I miss him so much. He was the love of my life.” The Alameda County (California) Coroner’s office verified to Fox News Digital that the actor’s death was an accident caused by acute intoxication from a cocktail of methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, and benzodiazepines.
“It was predominantly the central nervous system depressants,” his mom explained to the outlet. “It started to slow his heart and slow his breathing. He got tired from lack of oxygen. Everything just slowed down, and eventually his heart stopped and he went to sleep. But he didn’t kill himself.”
Lisa also disclosed how Angus spent his final day with his uncle Kevin Cloud before his untimely demise. “I was one of the last people to see him alive,” Kevin said to People magazine. “We were together for almost four hours on his last afternoon. It was a calm and joyful period. He appeared to be in peak physical condition. God, you are gorgeous,” I murmured to him as my parting words.
Angus and his friend spent their last night together tagging a building in memory of another friend who had recently died from a fentanyl overdose. “Conor really wanted to honor him that night,” Daniel Aguilera said to the media. He placed a high value on it. I was able to spend his last night working on a piece of art with him.
As Aguilera recalls it, the actor Angus wasn’t “messed up” upon their return to the house where he was subsequently discovered dead. That’s why I really regret leaving Conor. It’s hard for me to accept myself. The family of the deceased TV celebrity earlier sent a statement to Fox News Digital.
“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today,” the statement read. “As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.” “He buried his father last week and has been struggling intensely with this loss,” the statement read.
