Bill Belichick and Linda Holliday End Relationship: New Chapter for Patriots Coach!

Bill Belichick Breakup

Bill Belichick is saying goodbye to one familiar face in Foxborough, Massachusetts, but welcoming back another. Page Six said on Wednesday that the 71-year-old Super Bowl-winning Patriots coach and his 49-year-old longtime girlfriend Linda Holliday have broken up after “been involved in a drawn-out, back-and-forth breakup for nearly a year.”

Belichick and Patriots representatives did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment, and neither did Holliday. This news breaks just days before New England is poised to celebrate its favorite son, retired quarterback Tom Brady, who spent the first 20 seasons of his career with the Patriots. Brady will be honored before the Patriots’ season opener against the Eagles at Gillette Stadium on September 6, 2023.

After the 2019 season, Brady parted ways with the Patriots and spent the rest of his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he won another Super Bowl in 2021. However, in the weeks leading up to Brady’s seventh and final Super Bowl victory, Holliday — who has been associated to Belichick since 2007 — responded to a troll who had said, “Too bad Bill let Tom go.”

The following tweet confirms Bill Belichick’s split:

“I’m happy for Tom’s career! Why can’t you be?” In January of 2021, she made a remark. There were rumors of tension between Brady and Belichick near the end of Brady’s time in New England, but Belichick has been nothing but supportive of the future Hall of Fame quarterback.

“Tremendous appreciation for everything he did for me, did for our team, everything he gave us,”Belichick said last month on “The Greg Hill Show,” adding that he “look[s] forward to seeing” Brady at the season opening. Given all that he has done for the team, the city, and the NFL, one evening probably won’t do a good job of showing our gratitude.

The Chief Operating Officer of Kraft Sports & Entertainment, Jim Nolan, has recently dropped hints about what Sunday may bring for Patriots fans. On Wednesday’s episode of “Zolak & Bertrand” on 98.5 The Sports Hub, Nolan told listeners, through NBC Sports Boston, that the ceremony will take place during halftime.

We expect the spectators to see him on the field before the game. That’s about all the news I can bring you today. Brady said Monday that he feels “a lot of gratitude” toward the company. Brady remarked on the SiriusXM podcast “Let’s Go”: “I have so many memories from my time there and memories with people there, and I’m creating a new memory with the people there.”

“And to go back to that stadium and bring my kids and my family in a different way, you know, I’ve not been to that stadium in this way ever. I went there as a player, I went there once as a competitor and now I’m gonna go there as really a fan.” Brady and his ex-wife Bridget Moynahan are co-parents to their 16-year-old son Jack.

He and ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, who he divorced in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage and 2 children together, share parental responsibilities for their children, Benjamin, 13, and Vivian, 10.
