On Sunday, more than a month after the adored actor received a dementia diagnosis, Bruce Willis celebrated his 68th birthday with close friends and family.
Willis’ ex-wife, actress Demi Moore, posted a video of their family singing “Happy Birthday” to the legendary actor.
“Happy birthday, BW! So glad we could celebrate you today. Love you and love our family. Thank you to everyone for the love and warm wishes – we all feel them,” she tweeted along with the footage.

In the video, Willis is surrounded by his daughters and wife of the moment, Emma Heming Willis, as he blows out the cake candles.
In another touching Instagram post about her husband, Emma Heming Willis called him “pure love.”
“My birthday wish for Bruce is that you continue to keep him in your prayers and highest vibrations because his sensitive Pisces soul will feel it Thank you so much for loving and caring for him too,” Willis wrote.

According to the Society for Frontotemporal Degeneration, the actor may experience “challenges with communication” if he has frontotemporal dementia, which his family revealed last month.
It happened roughly a year after Willis gave up acting after being diagnosed with aphasia. His family has nevertheless highlighted that his condition has gotten worse.
Emma Heming Willis begged photographers earlier this month to give the actor “space” and refrain from yelling at him publicly.
