When 43-year-old Allen vanished, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office uncovered a lead that sent investigators 150 miles from Omaha to Topeka. Scott also resides in this town.

Following up on the information from Nebraska, detectives from the Topeka Police Department and the Shawnee County Sheriff were on the scene of a farm about 10 minutes from Scott’s house on Wednesday.

The Saturday before Thanksgiving, when Allen vanished, was roughly five weeks ago; she stopped messaging her son at that point, which was the first hint of concern. Numerous searches have been conducted in the Omaha metro area and Kansas since she was last seen close to her house at 168th and Blondo streets.

According to her friends, she ended her relationship with Scott, 47, two weeks earlier.

In her house, deputies discovered gunshot holes that had been fixed but not painted.

Scott allegedly told authorities that he was in his hometown of Topeka. Still, cellphone data reportedly showed that he was in northwest Omaha, close to the bar Allen had visited that Saturday night.

Her laptop and cell phone are gone.

Investigators discovered retired military officer Scott in Belize; he was returned to Omaha last week to face abduction allegations. Scott is presently being held in the Douglas County Jail under a $10 million bail. Keep yourself updated with all the latest news from our website Newswatchlist.com and get all the recent updates.
