Coaching Career and Salary
Deion was introduced as the new head football coach at the University of Colorado on December 5, 2022. With the announcement, it became known that Deion had committed to the program with a 5-year, $29.5 million contract. That translates to a $5.9 million yearly pay.
Chateau Montclair
Deion put two houses in the Dallas region for sale in February 2011. One was priced at $7.5 million, while the other was outrageously priced at $21 million. The “Chateau Montclair” estate, which has 30,000 square feet, is the one he listed for $21 million.
The place was 112 acres when he lived there. Deion custom-built Chateau Montclair in 1999. It contains eight bedrooms, a ten-car garage, a bowling alley, a basketball court, a 12-acre lake, a billiards room, a barbershop, and more.
With 3,000 square feet of living space, a kitchen, and a Jacuzzi, the master bedroom suite alone is more extensive than many single-family houses. For $15 million, Deion sold Chateau Montclair to developers in 2014.
Those developers later divided the property into numerous lots to build a posh community they called “Montclair.” The magnificent palace of Deion was downsized from 112 acres to six.
The smaller Chateau Montclair was put on the market for $14.5 million in 2018, but it has not yet sold as of this writing. From the 2018 offering, here is a video tour of Chateau Montclair.
