Family Mourns Woman And Child Killed In Intentional Car Crash

A family from northern Virginia is speaking out after losing loved ones in a de@dly collision earlier this month.

Police think Mustafa Aljazairi, 33, deliberately rammed his car into an SUV, ki!!ing Dorothy D’Ann Horton, 33, and her 5-year-old daughter Empress.

Family members of Horton claim there was a history of abuse, and they are now cautioning people to be aware of the indicators.

On Wednesday, April 5, a double de@dly collision occurred near Fortuna Center Plaza and Dumfries Road.

It allegedly occurred during a verbal dispute between Aljazairi and Horton, according to Prince William County police.

Police claimed that Aljazairi purposefully drove his 2007 Chrysler 300 into oncoming traffic during the argument, striking a 2013 Chevrolet Suburban.

Both vehicles rotated due to the impact’s force. Aljazairi’s car veered off the road and onto a sidewalk, coming to rest with its back to southbound traffic.

The collision didn’t involve any other automobiles.

Horton and the young child were transferred to local hospitals and eventually declared de@d. Aljazairi and the SUV’s driver were not seriously hurt in the collision.

He and Horton, according to the police, were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision. The fact that the youngster had not been adequately restrained was also emphasized.

Two days later, at his home in Stafford, Aljazairi was taken into custody and charged with two charges of manslaughter and one act of intentional wounding. According to the police, he is being held without bond.

Horton Cicheskie’s brother, Derek Cicheskie, said he wants his sister’s boyfriend to be held accountable.

“I would like to, you know, see him get the full extent of this because now I’m without a sister and a niece. And the rest of her kids are without a mom and a sister, and it’s terrible,” Cicheskie said. “All in a day, a quarter of her family gone.”

Other people are being cautioned to “take these abuses and family situations seriously.”

“If you hear something, say something because it could be life-ending,” he added. “Now, I’m just trying to figure out, you know, where to go from here and that everybody that’s left has a good place to go.”

Horton leaves behind five kids. To help with the cost of the fun*ral and other expenditures, her family has created a GoFundMe page.
