The strain of the high-risk, high-reward mission is increased when Bode receives the job offer in his small-town hometown, where he was a shining example of an all-American teenager before his problems started.
Bode left town five years ago with a terrible secret after destroying everything in his life. He has a criminal history and the hubris to believe that working for Cal Fire will give him a second chance at atonement now that he has returned.

Fire Country Season 1 Recap: What Happened In Season 1?
