Heeraben Modi: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mother Passes Away At The Age of 99!
God is the recipient of a glorious century, Mr. Narendra Modi tweeted Friday morning.
Heeraben, who lives in Gandhinagar in western Gujarat, lighted the cremation pyre for his mother on Friday.
Heeraben Modi was sent to the hospital on Wednesday when her condition worsened.
When there were significant holidays or festivals, the Indian prime minister frequently visited his mother to ask for her blessing.
On June 18, when Heeraben turned 99, Mr. Modi said that her life and sacrifices had “molded” his thought, personality, and self-confidence.
“My mother is both ordinary and straightforward. Similar to all mothers, “He composed.
When Mr. Modi visited her home on December 4 for the assembly election in Gujarat, his home state, they were last spotted together in public.

In Gujarat’s Mehsana district, Heeraben Modi was born in Visnagar in 1923.
Mr. Modi said, “Her childhood was one of hardship and deprivation.”
She married Damodardas Mulchand Modi when she was a teenager and relocated to the nearby town of Vadnagar.
Mr. Modi said in his blog that his family used to reside in a small home in Vadnagar that was devoid of even a window, let alone amenities like a toilet or bathtub.
He characterized his mother as timely, orderly, and diligent. He noted that she would hum her favorite hymns and bhajans as she worked.
Heeraben never went to public events, Mr. Modi claimed, adding that she had only ever accompanied him to two occasions, the second of which was in 2001 when he first took the oath of office as Gujarat’s chief minister.
He said she hadn’t joined me on a public occasion since then.
Even though he took office as prime minister of India in 2014, Heeraben only visited Delhi in 2016. She was shown around Mr. Modi’s official residence in images he shared of himself.
