Jeannie Mai Divorce
Yeezy stated that he and Jeannie’s marriage were “irretrievably broken” in a court document he submitted on September 14. Additionally, he said there is “no hope for reconciliation,” as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. The “Mr. President” musician wants shared parental responsibility for his child with Jeannie Mai.
According to his petition, Jeezy is seeking enforcement of their prenuptial agreement. However, the prenuptial agreement’s specifics have not been made public as of yet. Fans were startled to hear of the couple’s breakup after only two years of marriage.
In an earlier interview with HollywoodLife, Jeannie explained why she decided to adopt Jeezy’s surname after they were married. To Jeannie, “his name, his last name to me means a man who has survived so much and who has triumphed and has beat the odds in a way that many people can’t tell,” she explained to HollywoodLife in 2021.
“My husband is a beautiful human being let alone a legend in these streets.” “As Jeannie Mai Jenkins, I am honored to carry his name and committed to doing all I can to add meaning and value to his legacy.“
How Long Were Jeezy and Jeannie Mai Together?
Jeezy and Jeannie first crossed paths in 2018 when Jeezy appeared on Jeannie’s talk program. They eventually got married in Atlanta in March of 2021. Jeannie told HollywoodLife exclusively that the couple’s decision to have a private ceremony was one of the most “sacred” decisions of their lives.
The talk show hostess continued, “That was a big decision for us because we have been really public and our relationship,” in her 2021 interview. Sometimes we decide if something should be public or private, and I’m on a talk show. As such, I thought I’d tell you about meeting and falling in love with Jeezy.

In an Instagram video uploaded in August, several commented on Jeannie’s apparent “chemistry” with Access anchor Mario Lopez. In her montage video, many viewers took issue with a scene in which Mario was seen holding up her and Jeezy’s kid and kissing her on the cheek.
A commenter under the video remarked something to the effect of, “You do not kiss another man’s child like that, that was very disrespectful and I bet Jeannie never said a word to him about that,” not long after Jeezy filed for divorce from Jeannie.
The claims seem to be unfounded, however the day before Jeezy filed for divorce, he posted a mysterious Instagram remark that said, “Too focused on who I’m becoming to focus on who’s not coming with me.”
Do Jeezy and Jeannie Mai Have Children?
The TV star and the “Soul Survivor” rapper had a daughter together; in 2022, Jeannie and Jeezy welcomed daughter Monaco Mai Jenkins. Jeezy has a daughter, Amra, with ex-girlfriend Mahlet “Mahi” Gebremedhin and a son, Jadarius, with ex-girlfriend Tynesha Dykes.
