Will Jesse Palmer Continue To Host The Bachelor?
18 years after his appearance on the reality TV program, Jesse Palmer made a comeback on The Bachelor. Palmer, now a host, added “mentor” to his list of accomplishments by guiding bachelor Clayton Echard through dating 31 women.
Palmer remarked on Good Morning America, “What I told Clayton was, ‘Just because you’re the ‘Bachelor,’ does not guarantee or suggest these women would fall in love with you. Clayton received the following advice from me: “You have to make an effort, you have to be intentional, you have to attempt to impress these women and not rest on your laurels, and I believe Clayton did a wonderful job at that.”
Palmer discussed his return to the program with Variety in January, although he added that he was concentrating on mentoring Echard this season and wasn’t sure of his future. Regarding returning to host the upcoming season, he said, “I’m a tremendous fan of the show and the franchise, and if they want to have those conversations, I would be willing to do that.”
“But for the time being, I’m operating with a football mentality: play the next down, try to gain another first down, and do everything I can to assist Clayton. So that’s where I’m concentrating right now.” Although Palmer has agreed to host season 19 of The Bachelorette, featuring two leading ladies from Echard’s season: Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia, ABC announced this on March 15.
On July 11 at 8 p.m. ET, The Bachelorette will make its online streaming debut. Please forward this to your friends if you find it interesting. Visit Newswatchlist.com for the most recent celebrity news and updates.
