Rita Ora replaced Jenna Bush Hager as cohost of “Today with Hoda & Jenna,” although the former member of Destiny’s Child was intended to stand in for her. A new venue has opened up for Kelly Rowland’s confessions.
According to EW’s sources, the “Motivation” singer and former member of Destiny’s Child unexpectedly quit her role as guest presenter on Today With Hoda & Jenna on Thursday due to a problem with her dressing area.
Rowland went on strike after appearing as a guest on the 8 a.m. hour of the Today show; later, fellow singer Rita Ora took over for her.While a Today official chose not to react, a Rowland representative took some time to respond to EW’s request for comment.
A source informed PEOPLE that “Kelly walked out because she and her team didn’t like her dressing room,” and that Ora “agreed to fill in at the last minute.”
Rumour has it that Jennifer Lopez, who was in town to promote her new album This Is Me… Now and film The Greatest Love Story Never Told, was utilising the green room that Rowland had requested because she was unhappy with the one downstairs.
Page Six broke the story first. Several additional possibilities were subsequently presented to Rowland, according to the report, but she chose to depart instead.
Rowland promoted her latest courtroom thriller, Mea Culpa, in which she both stars and produces, on Today. February 23rd is when the movie will be available on Netflix. Meanwhile, Ora is now a part of the 11th season of The Masked Singer.
