Megan Fox is beyond thrilled to be marrying Machine Gun Kelly. “WOW, congratulations to my Grammy-nominated fiancé and the hottest Edward Scissorhands cosplayer,” the actress wrote in her Instagram Story on Tuesday, November 15, about MGK’s nomination for best rock album for his Mainstream Sellout album.
She added, “You work harder than anyone I’ve ever known and are twice as talented,” next to a photo of the beaming rapper/rocker with a pile of barrettes in his bleach blonde hair. You are worthy of it.
“Call me what you want as long as it starts with ‘grammy nominated,'” Kelly wrote on Instagram to mark the occasion. I LOVE YOU,” he said, adding an emoji of a metal salute. MGK also shared photographs of the actual envelope containing the candidates for best rock album, with his name highlighted in red next to those for the Black Keys, Elvis Costello & the Imposters, Idles, Ozzy Osbourne, and Spoon.
The slideshow also included a brief clip of Colson, who was holding hands with Fox, completely losing it and running hysterically across the room as the nomination was announced. In a different video, he excitedly called Travis Barker, a longstanding collaborator, and told him, “Wake up, birthday dude, we’re nominated for a mother f-king Grammy!”
The joyful news was also shared by several of Baker’s friends, such as Avril Lavigne, who remarked, “F-k yeah,” and producer Blackbear, who added, “WTF I’m on a grammy nominated record!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CONGRATSSSSSSS.” The Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles will host the 2023 Grammy Awards on February 5.
