American football player, writer, and TV host Michael Anthony Strahan was born on November 21, 1971. All fifteen years of his professional football career were spent at defensive end for the NFL’s New York Giants.

On November 21, 1971, Michael Anthony Strahan came into this world in Houston, Texas. Louise and Gene Willie Strahan had six children, the youngest of whom is him. Mannheim, a West German Army installation, became Strahan’s new home when he was nine years old.
He was a football player at the German institution Mannheim American High School, which is a dependent high school of the United States Department of Defense. He lived with his uncle Art, a former NFL player, in Houston during the summer between his junior and senior years of high school so he could play football in the autumn semester, per his dad’s wishes.
Texas Southern University offered Strahan a football scholarship after he made this transfer. While at Texas Southern University, Strahan was a football player. Offense was his strong suit. As a potential NFL draft pick, Strahan began to garner notice in his junior year. Four media groups, including the Associated Press, named him to their All-America first team while he was a senior.
Several sources also named him the best defensive player in Division I-AA. In his final year of college (1992–1993), he was honored with multiple honors, including First Team recognition from the Southwestern Athletic Conference, Player of the Year for the second year in a row, and Black College Defensive Player of the Year.

For fourteen years, Michael Strahan was a New York Giants defensive end. In the 1993 NFL Draft, he was chosen by the Giants with the forty-first overall choice of the second round. Michael then had a very fruitful career in his chosen field. Along with being a part of the 2007 Giants’ Super Bowl winning team, he has been named to the Pro Bowl seven times.
In addition to becoming the 2001 NFL Defensive Player of the Year and a two-time NFC Champion, he has the record for most sacks in a single season. With his 2007 retirement, he left the NFL. In addition to being named to the NFL’s All-Decade Team for the 2000s and being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014, he is also a member of the New York Giants Ring of Honor.

Michael now makes over $17 million year from his many sponsorship deals and hosting gigs. Simply from his salary alone, Michael made little over $76.3 million over his time in the NFL. In the 2002–2003 NFL season, he earned $20.6 million from the Giants, which was his best-ever season.
A men’s clothing line with suits, collared shirts, ties, belts, and more was launched by Strahan in 2015 in collaboration with J.C. Penney.

The court ordered the auction of their $3.6 million Montclair, New Jersey, estate during his 2007 divorce proceedings from Jean Muggli, and the proceeds were to be divided equally.
Strahan purchased a 1,911-square-foot, two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo in lower Manhattan for $1.665 million in August 2008. In 2014, he made $2.4 million from the sale.
Two of his Hermosa Beach pads were sold in 2012 for $1.8 million and $3 million, respectively. Later that year, Strahan spent $7.9 million on a house in Bel Air. The “outdated” possible tear-down property was sold off the market for $11 million by him just one year later.
Strahan made $21.5 million from the sale of his Brentwood property in 2015. The one-acre property features a 59-foot pool, a spacious grass, and old trees, and the 15,600-square-foot house was constructed in 2013.
This three-story mansion has it all: a library, a home theater, a wine cellar in the Prohibition style complete with a drinking lounge, a fitness center, a gaming room, a sauna, and not one but two washing rooms.
A lovely sitting area with a fireplace may be found in the master wing. It has fourteen baths and nine suites with bedrooms. In 2013, while he was engaged to Nicole Mitchell Murphy, he purchased the house for $16 million. The property that Strahan owned in Beverly Hills was sold by him for $4.4 million in 2019.
