New Volvo Ex90 Makes North American Debut At CES

New Volvo Ex90 Makes North American Debut At CES: The new Volvo EX90 was shown today at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas for the first time in North America, highlighting the tech partnerships that make the Volvo EX90 our most brilliant car yet. For our business, the Volvo EX90 heralds a new age in safety.

The Volvo EX90 is an all-electric SUV with a full seven-seater that raises the bar for safety and a more environmentally friendly way of life. The Volvo EX90 respects our Swedish roots and Scandinavian design heritage while reflecting our global reach when unveiled on November 9, 2022, in the heart of Stockholm. The Volvo EX90, which will reportedly be produced in South Carolina beginning later this year, will make its American debut at CES.

Your Volvo EX90 won’t simply be a brand-new vehicle but a cutting-edge computer on wheels. Volvo Cars have worked with some of the most advanced businesses in their industries to create smarter, safer, and more sustainable driving to utilize the core computer system fully.

The Volvo EX90 is being displayed at CES in conjunction with both Google and Luminar displays, demonstrating new technology created in partnership with Volvo Cars and scheduled to be unveiled and shown off later this week.

The Volvo EX90 has better safety standards than any Volvo vehicle before. It is intended to comprehend the surroundings and the driver to protect you, your loved ones, and other road users safer. It is also designed to learn from new data and receive updates over the air, making it brighter and safer over time.

Our sensors, which include a long-range lidar, five radars, eight cameras, and sixteen ultrasonic sensors, are not easily distracted or worn out. They are built to react and respond when you are just a little bit late. Our lidar, provided by Luminar, can detect the surface of the road in front of you and can see small objects up to two football fields away in both daylight and darkness and even at high speeds.

The Volvo EX90’s standard lidar can offer the driver extra time to react and prevent hazardous but frequent driving scenarios. Our innovative driver comprehension system functions with the sophisticated external sensor set.

It includes a capacitive steering wheel and two cameras that use gaze sensing to determine whether a motorist is inattentive or tired. This technology will assist in building a preemptive safety shield you don’t realize is there until you need it.

A 14.5-inch central screen inside the Volvo EX90 is your entryway to one of the most powerful infotainment systems, with Google preinstalled. Built-in Google services and products include Google Assistant for hands-free assistance, Google Maps navigation, and more of your favorite apps from the Google Play store.

By giving you the appropriate information at the proper time, the displays in the Volvo EX90 assist you in maintaining your focus on the road. Wireless Apple CarPlay will also work with the Volvo EX90.

The 2024 Volvo EX90 is currently up for pre-order in the United States at volvocars.com/us and will cost less than $80,000 when fully equipped. Customers who place pre-orders will be prompted to customize their vehicles in the fall of 2023 and will be given preference when delivery starts in early 2024.
