Phil Baroni, a former MMA competitor, and UFC fighter, has been accused of killing his fiancée. A Mexican publication called The Tribuna De La Bahia recounted the unexpected turn of events.
The victim was thrown into the shower by Baroni (46), who admitted to it. There, she hit her skull and eventually passed away.
The fighter’s girlfriend allegedly admitted to cheating on him, leading to a quarrel. The victim was likewise a resident of Mexico City, and the crime occurred in San Pancho, Nayarit, Mexico.
According to the report, she reportedly fell and hurt her head because Baroni pushed her into the shower.
Baroni claims that after helping her get back into bed, he left the room at her request to bring her some cigarettes and alcohol. The woman had no vital signs when he entered the room again.
Phil then called the police, who arrived to find his girlfriend unresponsive on the bed, covered in a sheet.
The victim had injuries on her face and torso, according to the police, showing that she had been abused. In addition, an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
