When Did Ricochet Start His Professional Wrestling Career?
Under Ricochet, Trevor Mann debuted in Chaos Pro Wrestling in 2003. Before his first significant appearance on February 6, 2006, at Insanity Pro Wrestling’s Sacrifice event, he competed on the indie circuit. He participated in a five-man elimination match against future enduring foes Chuck Taylor, DieHard, Tony Galloway, and Ty Blade.
When Taylor pinned Ricochet to win the game, he became the last wrestler to be dispatched. A few weeks later, on February 18, Cabana Man Dan, Chuck Taylor, Jeff Jameson, Brian Sterling, and Ricochet competed in a five-man elimination match for the vacant Deep South Heavyweight Championship, which Cabana Man Dan ultimately won. This was Ricochet’s first major championship match.
A few months later, on April 1, at the IWA Mid-South show We’re No Joke!, Ricochet competed in a nine-man Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match to decide who would challenge Chuck Taylor for the Light Heavyweight Championship.
He lost the bout to Darin Corbin, but he was in a legendary scene where he executed his finisher, a double rotation moonsault, off a ladder and onto the other eight wrestlers outside the ring.
Ricochet participated in Mischief, Mayhem, and Revenge, an Insanity Pro Wrestling event, where he lost to Taylor for the junior heavyweight championship of the organization. Keep yourself updated with all the latest news from our website Newswatchlist.com and get all the recent updates.
