Shadows House anime series season 2 has been officially confirmed, and the theme and basic narrative have been revealed as well. A lot was expected of shows like The Slime Diaries, Tokyo Revengers, and the fifth season of My Hero Academia when the spring anime season began in April 2021. According to a report from Anime Geek, season 1 episode 12 was adapted up through volume 4 chapter 47 in the original manga series. The good news is that, at the time of writing, 10 entire manga volumes covering 132 chapters have been released in Japan.

Unfortunately, Funimation does not publish official viewership for its simulcast series, making Shadows House’s global success impossible to assess. However, the anime has been successful enough to earn a second season, with Shadows House now getting a strong 7.3/10 on IMDB and 7.75/10 on MyAnimeList with over 66,000 reviews.

When “Shadows House” returns for a second season, we may anticipate it to take up where the first one ended. Kate, Emilio, and their pals had found some disturbing realities regarding the titular Shadows House and the connection between shadow people and live dolls in their last appearance on the show.

Shadows House Season 2 Release Date: When Will It Come Out?

As of January 5, 2022, an official press release from the Anime News Network said that the second season of Shadows House will air in July of that year. Crunchyroll has not yet confirmed whether or not they will be simulcasting Season 2 of Shadows House, so fans should be wary of this.

Following the merger with Funimation earlier this year, the streaming site is certainly slated to show the upcoming season. After being initially announced in October of 2020, the anime adaptation was finally shown in April of 2021 as part of the Spring anime schedule. Some were expecting it to return in April 2022, but most of us are fine with a little bit of wiggle room.

So much that there’s not much to say but try it for yourself! This could have been a classic tale like Snow White, the beauty and the beast… Everything is just right, pacing, dialogues… but you got to know that Japanese amines are known to “explain what they see”, which is usually not seen as a good thing in our western productions. The idea is so original it’s the first time “ever” as far as I know that those ideas are exploited. Well, I just love it, I hope you will as well!

I love the whole concept of Shadows House. Everything is very well done, from the characters to the story. While it did have very few flaws and misgivings, they are nothing compared to the overall mysterious tale of Shadows House!
