“Sugar” Shane Mosley took many hits in his boxing career, but nothing like the one he got from a family law judge.
The three-time champion had been avoiding his child support payments for almost a year. Because of this, a judge ordered him to pay his ex-wife, Jin Mosley, $180,000.
But that wasn’t all.
The judge also made him pay $85,000 for their shared tax debt. This brought his total debt to $265,000. On top of that, he had to pay her lawyer’s fees of $50,000, making the final amount he owed about $315,000.
