This look didn’t receive a golden buzzer.
Former “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell shocked viewers when he appeared unrecognizable months after saying he was done with Botox. After online trolls ridiculed his appearance, was taken down with many saying he looked like a “Madame Tussauds waxwork.”
The 63-year-old TV host urged people to contact him to audition for “Britain’s Got Talent,” the UK version of his well-known “America’s Got Talent” competition. The clip was posted on Thursday and raised eyebrows.
“I always say on this show, two or three minutes can change your life,” proclaimed Cowell. “And it has. And maybe this time it’s gonna be you.”
“So please audition now for next year’s season and I look forward to meeting you.” he remarked.
However, the most striking aspect of the video was the British actor’s appearance, who had a particularly shiny face, teeth that were almost fluorescent white, and enhanced features that many Twitter commenters suspected were the result of some sort of cosmetic procedure.
It makes sense that trolls were quick to mock Cowell’s expression.
“Um, can we talk about Simon Cowell for a moment?” One concerned viewer expressed their concern alongside images showing the talent show star’s current promotional still next to an older photo of him in which his face appeared more natural and full.
Jokingly, another added, “Madame Tussauds unveiled their new waxwork of Simon Cowell.”

On Twitter, someone insulted him with these words: “Simon Cowell’s face looks like if George Michael’s corpse was a playable character in Goldeneye.”
Alongside a picture of Cowell and the Frankenstein-like “Munsters” character, one commenter joked, “Simon Cowell’s the son of Herman Munster.”

One Twitter troll compared Cowell to the infamously disastrous 2012 restoration of a Jesus fresco. Even Domino’s Pizza UK couldn’t help but poke fun at the scowling talent snob, writing: “When you get a Simon Cowell from the freezer.”
A different internet prankster claimed that Cowell appeared to have skinned an actual person and was “wearing their face” like Leatherface from the classic horror film “Texas Chainsaw Massacre.”
The only social media watchdogs who seemed to be concerned that something more serious might be going on here were a small number: One supporter tweeted, “Simon Cowell not looking great.” “Something not right.”
The Post has contacted Cowell’s representatives for comment on his most recent internet sensation.
The origin of Cowell’s sudden beauty is unknown. However, he has previously expressed support for altering his appearance.
After his terrifying e-bike accident in 2020, he underwent many cosmetic procedures, including Botox, a facelift in 2018, multiple facials, and veneers for his teeth.

However, Cowell asserted in April that he had had enough fillers and Botox injections because they had left him looking “like something out of a horror film.”
“I reduced it, let’s put it that way,” the infamous curmudgeon stated on Page Six in November. “Everything in moderation.”
“There was a stage where I might have gone a bit too far,” Cowell admitted. “I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day, and didn’t recognize it as me first of all.”
He stated, “Enough was enough. There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero.”
