Lucasfilm revealed Season 2 during the Star Wars Celebration the year before, stating the show would return for Volume 2 in the spring of 2023.

According to James Waugh, the studio’s EVP of franchise content and strategy, will celebrate the beautiful animation taking place worldwide.
Star Wars: Visions Season 2!
“The first anthology is anime because we all adore the style of it,” Waugh said in a statement to Deadline. “But personally, my objective for Visions was always to allow it to have a broader palette because there’s so much fantastic animation stuff going on around the globe.
There are a lot of exciting voices in a variety of other media who are currently concentrating on animation. And we wanted it to be, in a sense, a “sub-brand” that invited many creators to enjoy Star Wars from their particular cultural viewpoint.
Visions Volume 2 serves as a global tour of some of the most intriguing animation studios worldwide. Moreover, we wanted their narrative to reflect not only what Star Wars meant to them culturally but also the myths and tales that could only emerge from their particular setting.
