After suffering a brain aneurysm, Tom Sizemore is in a life-threatening situation.
According to Charles Lago, the actor from “Saving Private Ryan,” 61, has been “hospitalized in intensive care.”
“He is currently in critical condition and it’s a wait and see situation,” Lago said. “His family is aware and waiting for medical updates.”
The “Black Hawk Down” star was in his Los Angeles home when he suffered a brain aneurysm at 2 a.m. Saturday and passed out, according to TMZ, who broke the story first.
According to the source, someone located Sizemore and dialed 911. He was transferred to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, even though paramedics arrived promptly.
The troubled actor has fought openly with drug addiction and has gone into trouble with the law numerous times.
Sizemore was detained numerous times in the 2000s for a series of drug and domestic violence offenses for which he was found guilty, serving 17 months in prison.
After divorcing Maeve Quinlan in 1999, he was found guilty of abusing Heidi Fleiss in 2003, leading to one of his most well-known convictions.

Sizemore was detained for drunk driving and drug possession in 2019 and 2020.
The actor revealed in a 2017 interview with The Daily Mail that his addiction led him to hit rock bottom. He told the outlet he was “forced to squat for two years” in a building with “no electricity or running water.”
“My life’s gotten a lot better, it’s been a real chronicle, but I’ve got a long history of substance abuse, I was in a really bad place,” Sizemore said at the time. “I wasn’t homeless but I had to fast sell my $7 million house. This is how f–ked up I was, I could have bought something else, like a condo or something, but I wanted a house again.”
He continued, “So I was driving around in my car for a couple of weeks. I mean, I was on drugs, I was thinking I’m gonna get the money to buy a $5 million home and I’m asking certain people for money.”
The “Heat” actor eventually requested a loan from his friend Jack Nicholson.
“I said, ‘Can you loan me $10 million?’ and he said, ‘In a word, no,’” Sizemore recalled.
A tweet from Eddie McClintock’s official account remarked, “Tom Sizemore is in critical condition, after suffering a brain aneurysm last Saturday. I know Tom has had his troubles (haven’t we all), but when I worked with him on “SHOOTER,” he was incredibly kind to my son, and frankly, everyone else. Send one up for Tom. ”-

Previously, Sizemore gained notoriety after a Utah woman accused him of groping her at a picture shoot when she was only 11 years old.
In her 2018 complaint, she claimed that an incident in 2003 while “Born Killers” was being made left her with post-traumatic stress disorder and a drug and alcohol addiction.
When the “highly disturbing” allegation first arose, Sizemore vehemently refuted it, claiming he would never improperly touch a child.
In 2020, a judge rejected the lawsuit.
