The 10-page autopsy report concluded that Jackson died from alcoholism-related heart, liver, and kidney disease. This news comes six days after Jackson’s family revealed that he had been diagnosed with stage 2 CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy) by brain experts.
His loved ones likely announced the news in an effort to bring attention to chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a degenerative brain illness common among those who have endured repeated blows to the head.
It has been a major problem in many different sports, including football, hockey, and combat sports, and it can only be detected post mortem. Aggression, impulsivity, despair, anxiety, paranoia, substance misuse, and suicide ideation are some of the behavioral signs linked to Stage 2 CTE.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Jackson’s body was discovered on February 15 in the hotel room he had been using at the Homewood Suites in Brandon, Florida, since January 11. Chad Chronister, the sheriff of Hillsborough County, Florida, has admitted to having problems with alcohol and other health issues.
However, he was located the following day, and “after assessing Jackson’s well-being, the missing persons case was canceled,” as stated in the initial police report filed by his family on February 10.So much of Vincent’s life was spent assisting others.
